HELLO CAPTAINS.
Perhaps you could publish brief Team Bulletins, something like this.

My name is (1) ,a member of the (2 Rifle Association.
The NRAA has appointed me as Captain of the F (3) Class Team to compete at the F-Class World Championships at Bloemfontein, South Africa,
on (4) .
The other15 Members of our Team are:-
(5) , (6) Rifle Association

(33) ,(34) Rifle Association.

Individual roles within the Team will be nominated by 17.00 hours on the day before Competition.
The Team has gathered for regional and full practices on about (35) occasions at (36) venues throughout Australia.
In addition, there have been about (37) technical meetings/hookups.
This amounts to a great effort by Team Officials and Members.
We expect that the efforts of the other Teams will be no less.

Too keep it simple, the Captains could create a table numbered 1 to 37 and jot in their choice of answers.

Best Wishes.
John Tracey.

Just in case one or two do not the details, log on to sabisley. The Teams leave for Bloemfontein on Sunday.
The Individual will be shot on 27, 28 and 29 March and the Teams on 31 March and 1 April.
I believe Silver Mountain E.T.'s will be used.

We all meet up in Sydney on Sunday afternoon and stay for the night at Malaba range accommodation which is close to the airport.
We then take minibuses to the Sydney airport on Monday morning for direct flight to Johannesburg, landing Monday night local time. The Kiwi team will be on the same flight as us so I would say we might be getting to know each other over a few soda waters.
The Australian open team will spend the first night at accommodation between Johannesburg and Bloemfontein, before travelling on to Bloemfontein on Tuesday morning. No doubt some of us will be sending progress reports and pictures once we get there.

As for Silver Mountain ETs being used, I think someone was having a joke when they told you that. They will be using the same ICFRA world Championship ship targets as other world championships, so scoring 5s and Vs, with paid markers again.

Shooting from 700, 800, 900 meters

The South African nationals individuals will be shot 3 to a target (3 man Bisley style) and the Worlds will apparently will again be shot 2 to a target (2 man Bisley style) as they did at the previous FCWC. All matches being 15 or 20 shots.

Yes I hope everyone shooting at the event does well and returns safe. We are all proud of you and know you will represent our country well, both on and off the range.

Is there any way to follow the FTR crew as well.

All the best!

The Australian F Open team has arrived in South Africa with all guns cleared. The team arrived in Sydney on Sunday afternoon where most of us stayed at Malaba for an early Monday flight. We completed border force paperwork for our firearms at Sydney Airport and all members and guns made the 14hr flight to Johannesburg arriving this afternoon. We travelled by bus about 1.5hrs south where we will be staying tonight before picking up our ammunition and other gear tomorrow before continuing our drive down to Bloemfontein.
After the drive to Sydney airport, border force firearms clearance, customs clearance, 14hr flight, clearing firearms in Johannesburg, waiting for our bus, then the 1.5hrs drive to our accommodation, we are all a little tired and heading straight to bed at 7.30am Australian time for our first real sleep.

We have a 9hr time difference so our updates will be a little behind.
