Probably not a great business tactic to somehow twist the narrative to put the popularity of Bergers down to a deficiency in shooter load development skills. The truth is, they work. Simply put; it is probably easier to get a Berger to shoot good groups at less overall cost in a shorter time than it is to wade into the unknown trying to get a pig to perform with a distinct possibility that said pig will never shoot good enough to be competetive, or will only do it intermittently.

The internet is a stupidity distribution system designed to replace facts with opinions, so that idiots don't have to think.
The Berger and other shortages of sought after components are made worse by the fact that some have them and some don't. This can give the "haves" a competitive advantage which is not due to shooting skill.
The same could be said for equipment,- there are those that cannot afford expensive/advantage laden equipment, and there are those who can. With the future of the sport in mind, where do you draw the line?
Let's also handicap those shooters with more skill and experience. Those are the ones that more often than not, that put in the work and spend the time and money. As far as I'm concerned F Open is exactly that Open, if you want to have a controlled playing field there are other classes for that. There are other options to get Bergers, it just involves a bit more work !!! We also need a don't like option. Matt P

Who said we're only talking about F-Open??? The component shortages are affecting all disciplines. And you don't need a "don't like option" Matt. Your words make that very clear.
