A NEW ACTION

Post by Paul Janzso »

Kieth, a member of the club I'm in shoved a box on the table one Saturday after the shoot and said "have a look at this".

I opened the box and in it was a inch action.

I think that could well be the case Bruce - they're an inferior product. So if someone wants to be rid of their Barnard, I'm willing to take it off their hands - I'll even pay them something for it, although by all accounts, it won't need to be much.

alan,
if you get one, here's what to do.
in order to reduce elevation caused by lack of stiffness, some people are getting good results by barrel block bedding barnards.

Alan, thats just what I'm doing, barrel blocking. Viagra did'nt work.
I may have 4 Barnard P's up for grabs in exchange for a superior action, any takers?

If I didnt have my stock set up for a panda, and a few barrels chambered for it, I would swap it for a Barnard any time. Maybe when my PPC, 22BR and Dasher barrels are in need of a rechamber, I will take you up on the offer.
I have used the Inch action in 308 and I like the feel, just like my Barnard action, silky smooth.

Pest Bird. You might have to change your signiture to "Time whats not shooting Panda 300WSMs is wasted"
