My new 223 by Keith

Post by Seddo »

Hi guys,

My latest 223 build was waiting for me at the post office this morning, smithed by Keith Hill. Its a Win 70 (yes i love them) action with a 30" 7 twist pacnor barrel, McMillan stock, timney trigger & sightron 8-32. Keith fitted up a single shot follower in the stock to make loading easier as the stock doesnt have an internal mag in it. I went home for lunch and put the trigger in it, mounted the scope and took a pic. Here it is:

I really want to see how this shoots next to my other Mod 70 223 with a pacnor 8 twist 27" barrel.

I have the following projies to play with:
80gr JLK
80gr AMax
80gr VLD Berger
805gr Berger
90gr berger
and i have some 90gr JLK's on the way too.

Should be an interesting few months!!

Sweet Seddo.
Lets here how it went at the range.
Should have kept Herbs rifle and put a few shots through it as well.
