New Gunsmithing Book - Limited numbers

Post by ned kelly »

G'day All,
Bill Hambly-Clark Jnr has written a book called " Centrefire Rifle Accuracy - creating and maintaining it.
covers building a rifle (truing up actions, chambering, triggers etc), reloading, tuning and cleaning it.
PM me you email to send flyer, it's too big to attach or contact
Black Duck publications,
P.O. Box 146, Barcaldine, Qld 4725,

Only 2 catches, one is the cost - $100- posted..............and the other is only 100 copies printed, less my copy  :D
However, if you want to build a rifle this is a brilliantly detailed book, great photos and well worth it if you a are a budding rifle builder.

ned,
you missed the bedding section.
this is one thing we can all do ourselves if we have the knowledge.
scope mounting for accuracy rifles too.
interesting that an incorrectly mounted scope can bugger a good bedding job.
keep safe,
bruce.

Bill is actually looking through a spotting scope positioned on the right hand side off his rifle with his left eye in the photo

I agree, Bill's written a great book.

Very informative, and it's Australian. Not like any other accuracy, rifle build, precision shooting book I've read.

There are heaps of very good colour pictures that show what is explained in the text.

His style of writing is easy to read, and I particularly like Bill's anecdotes.

Great Read.
