Gradings question.

Post by Norm »

"VRA gradings are for Victorian Prize Meetings only, excluding the Syme & Queens."

Can anyone tell me why the Queens and Symes are excluded from the gradings in Victoria?

Thanks.

The V.R.A could probly answer that and you would avoid speculation from an outsider.

Norm,

Bendigo used to be part of Victoria, but then they moved the Queens and the VRA HQ there....

Norm,

Not sure what Alan means!!

What you are referring to applies to TR only.

In Vic we use the same grading system as applied to FC for TR ( with slightly different cut-off values )
As the FC system for grading per SSR's only applies to FC ( not TR ) all Vic TR shooters must be graded per SSR's for all Queens, Leadups and interstate PM's
Hopefully the NRAA will eventually adopt the FC grading system for TR, as that per SSR's is years out of date and totally unfair.

Ok so it only applies to TR and not F-Class.
I saw it printed on the top of the Grading's page for TR and wondered why the difference.

Alan.......... I do know what you mean. I married a girl from Bendigo. They sure are different up that way.

Cheers.
