I just missed do mine. . . . . Fed ex should have it here next week! :-)

20MOA Linda? ? That's huge! I was a bit worried about bag settling etc but with 20MOA that should be less of an issue.

I will know more on this bag/pod combo tomorrow.

I am told the podpad needs to be firm, and I guess it would be like the rear bag, track the stock first and it will create less settling.

The 2 centre pouches are also able to be used without being filled. Which is great news for me, as I would like to travel without emptying and refilling every time.

Well I have to say the bipod is an absolute dream to use. It tracks beautifully, and with the joystick it is a pleasure to use.

I did have a couple of unexplained 4's but worked out that the bottom of the joystick was touching the ground for those. There is some settling in the podbag, so it does need a firm run across the bag before starting.

This is a piece of genius work.

I can see great benefits to future FTR teams where coaches hold off rather than wind the knob.

The wait is well worth it!

First shot with the joypod. Now the sound says that i shot on the wrong target. this was not the case. It was a delay in the system. You can just catch me saying i have the shot right at the end.
Brad will back me up on that.

It's a pity most wont have the chance to get one even if they are willing to pay the $$$ as supply will become a bigger issue (than it already is) as the manufacture moves onto something new and back orders don't get filled, just like the Neo and Max rests.

This is just as important when winding Linda - If the coach screws on 5 minutes then says "go on" you still have to readjust your point of aim the same. Joystick rests were a huge leap forward for Fopen team shooting so imagine they will do the same for FTR

And this joystick reads true. You move it to centre and it holds.

I used a joystick rest when shooting in an F Std team last week, and it had terrible response. When a coach says fire, I like my shot gone. I don't like wobbling around the target trying to get back to centre.

Does anyone have any tips or observations about setting the joypod up and hold when using it? I had a few problems with bag settling yesterday. Wondering if you are all using the pad supplied or have tried anything else under the front legs?

I drop the bag onto the mound and then firmly tap it flat with the palm of my hand, and then firmly with the side of my hand where it tracks.

Once all in place the firmly track the rifle on both bags.

I found the set up is important, but once you get it right, it's worth it.

I also played with the amount of sand in each side.

I had a play around the other day and found the same thing. If I 'track' the gun back and forth the settling was a lot better.
I was going to pack the bags quite full similar to my rear bag, but decided against that because I think it works better a bit looser. Seems to create grooves a bit better which helps with tracking.
