21st century neck turning lathe

Post by shooter mcreid »

Has anyone used the 21st century neck turning lathe? Pros and cons? Does it live up to its accuracy claims?
Thanks
Josh

Lathe is a brilliant bit of kit, makes it VERY easy and quick to do turning, much easier to use than any if the hand held ones.

Certainly improved my game!!

I was using the K&M before hand!

Jasmay, thanks for your input, you have given me the push I needed to get one. I too used the k&m turner with excellent results however found it time consuming gave me a sore hand. I have a big batch to do soon!
Gs, as my arch rival we are not supposed to be sharing secrets! Haha

I was was squadded with John for a day at Raton last year, and he struck me as a very genuine person with an emphasis not just on innovation but also on quality.

Thanks guys, I have put the order through. After I have had a chance to get use to it, I will do a little write up of how the lathe goes. Put some pics up as well.
