Neck expanding lube.
About to expand up another box of 6.5 brass for the .30-284. Last time, I ran them with Ideal wax applied with a bristle brush rolled through the wax & they worked OK, but I also have some lanolin/castor oil mix lurking somewhere & a bottle of STP with nothing to do.
What's your preference?

I use Imperial Sizing Die Wax for all my sizing and find it works great.
I have done a lot of expanding to 30 cal, even 6.5x68S to 30cal (30 BOO BOO)
If you are concerned about the jump in expansion run a 7mm expander first then the 30 cal expander.
Cheers
Paul

I've always used lanolin for all case lubing and forming and have had no trouble ever. Even taking 300 RUM cases out to 458 was no problem. The stuff is cheap to buy from the chemist, a small pot lasts at least 10 years and it is even supposed to be good for you if you get it on your hands (which you always do).
