Go try a 200m fly match.
35moa of elevation gives the Lr experience for nice and cheap

Years ago when I was a Fullbore Target shooter, I used to shoot 50m smallbore as crosstraining, for position, shot release and followthrough. It made a hell of a difference. Alot of the more competitive Fullbore shooters do this for exactly this reason. Now I shoot F Class and I have thought of doing the same, using my smallbore rifle with a scope for crosstraining for FClass. Finding the time is the problem, where as in the past I used to shoot smallbore on a Saturday morning and Fullbore in the afternoon, but with all the past issue at Malabar, we lost our smallbore range and those remaining members went out to Cecil Park, and strangely enough they shoot 22 Benchrest, just for the Benchrest and not necessarily for FClass.
I have an Anschutz 2013-690 and what I need to do is find a suitable scope and explore this further.
It can only be a good thing
