North Arm Rifle Club OPM

Post by scott/r »

The flyers are out and about for this years opm. Please note that if you wish to nominate for the 303 discipline, just make sure you give Bobby Bull a ring and preregister.

Sounds easy... (lol) count me in :)

Never shot 400yrds before so that particular range may require some TR ring size guesstimations on the mound.

And then to add to the confusion of north arm, Gerard, we have both meters (300) and yards (400,500 and 600) on our range.

Cool. Always good to see you back here. It's looking to be a big weekend with the rumours going around this is the last opm of the year for this area.
I must admit that I'm really looking forward to it myself after missing out on most of it last year.

Hi Scott,

Do you guys have concrete mounds up there or just lush 'Belmont like' grass :)

Also, do you know if camping over on the Sunday evening is ok?
Thinking of having a 'few..' beers afterward then heading home on the Monday :)

The other good thing about heading up that direction is the BEEFY'S PIES outlets!!!
Best pies in the universe! :)

Looking forward to it. (The bad news for me is I just discovered yesterday that I will miss our home Club Championship matches.. but I'm hoping to encourage the club to shift the date if possible :) ).

Seeya there :)

Nice green grass all the way down the fairway... I mean range. And no concrete.
I don't see any reason why you can't stay Sunday night, but as far as the pies go, you'll be hard pressed to go past the Yandina bakery, just up the road from the range. It'll be good to if all you guys come up to shoot with us.

Cool. It's a 400 comp day next Saturday. The range is looking pretty good with the rain we've had and the addition of new target numbers that went up yesterday.

Photo looks great!

Will definitely be there, I was talking with the guys yesterday at our weekly and a few others from Gatton are looking likely to join :)
It won't be conflicting with our club championships matches, so I'm clear for take off.

I hear it can be even more challenging than Muckadilla!! Will bring spare undies.. ;)

Too cool, it'll be good to see you all on the coast. And there's no need for spare undies, tissues maybe, but not undies.

Sorry I didn't get to catch up with you on Saturday, everything going on at once. You and your old man certainly showed everyone how to do it. They'll have to watch out for you two in a couple of weeks.
