Hi All,
Saw this scope recently and wondered if anyone has used one?
It is listed at $2720 so comparable to NF comp/march

Re: Kahles 10-50
Hi Tim
I cannot commment directly on the Kahles but will make a couple of suggestions on what to look at.
Watch eye relief, I sold a S&B 12-50 because it did not offer the eye relief required to shoot free recoil and heavy pills.
Also the S&B turrets were reverse direction ( you can order CCW turrets special order to overcome this)
And to top it off they were not 1/8 clicks but a finer metric version.
It was a good long range rabbit scope but not suitable for F Class in general and certainly not teams!

Re: Kahles 10-50
Looked long and hard at one of these recently and was very disappointed in what I saw. I previously owned a Kahles K624i, different kettle of fish for a different purpose but an excellent scope all the same with a super forgiving eye box and great glass. The K1050 was like looking through a straw, incredibly tight eyebox at minimum power and it just got worse as it wound up. I looked through it side by side with an NF Comp, Sightron SIII 10-50 and an S&B 12-50 (short eye relief but lovely sight picture). All three were significantly easier to find a clear image than the Kahles. Then a couple of the store employees looked through it and thought it was broken. It was sent back to Winchester who advised another store had sent one back with the same complaint - that it was incredibly difficult to get a clear sight picture due to the tight eyebox. Winchester checked with Kahles who advised they were 100% normal, nothing wrong with them.
In the end I bought a couple of Vortex Golden Eagles. That scope is much easier to get behind than the Kahles. As much as I wanted to like and buy the K1050, I can't do it as there are more flexible and better options available at the same price.
