I'd recon all the gas bags are at home, I'm still recovering from Connaught.
A wild guess for me would be:
Intermittent rain with wild wind changes, some technical difficulties with the targets, followed by a few crossfires and a great time at eagle hawk figuring it all out.

May a great time be had by all attending!

run up was good, the rain held off, but some mean flukey winds on the first arvo 600
i am still a bit emotional about that .... but the 500 & 800s were good

i just shot the 2 days. i read they cancelled this arvo due to inclement weather. glad i am not huddling down there in my tent !

Just to follow up from Andrew, Tm, nearly right. Leadup was good first day with fair winds except for 600M. No rain.
Day 2, double 800m with 15 shots, some light drizzle with easy conditions hense the high X counts. The winner I believe used a 280AI all the way.
Day 1 of the Queens, good easy weather for the double 500m, then a big thunderstorm stopped 600m x 15 shots with only half the field shooting. As its 5pm I guess the range has been abandoned. Scores are on NRAA site.
I haven't heard of any ET issues.

Yes well done to uncle bob kinnear, he has been putting in all of work on his rifles and it really shows with his confidence when shooting. A real nice bloke who deserves it 100%

Congrats to all . All my internet connections were disabled over the weekend so wasn't able to keep up with things. The scores indicate to me a typical Canberra Queens - a few locals know the peculiarities of the conditions, and everyone else is at its mercy. Its good to see Bob Kinnear made all the right decisions.

A BIG congrats to my clubmate Bob Kinnear on his 1st Queens win in F Open. Many hours of practice and testing has finally paid off for him and i would bet it may take a while before he stops smiling ..
