Front Rest???

Hi,
Where would I find information about the use of front rests for F Class?
With so many new products on the market now it is hard to know if they are allowed, for example there is a new rest called, Smartrest Nitroforce, which looks an ideal rest but not sure if it would be allowed.

Sorry no wouldn't be legal as front and rear rests are connected.

Thanks for that. What would be a good front rest? Just there are so many it is hard to know which is good and bad.

A few brand names to Google : Caldwell, Seb, Farley, Bald Eagle, Sinclair, ShadeTree. Also there are numerous shooters around Australia who make a few rests. I'd suggest going to a prize meeting with F-Class shooting to see what are being used. Costs can range from a few hundred to well over a thousand dollars. There are usually a few used ones for sale - shooters often start with something like a Caldwell, then move up to a more expensive one once they know more about the finer points of using rests.

Depends on your budget really. I like to buy once - cry once. At the high end, Farley, SEB and Dolphin Company have some very nice options (around $2k). Plenty of serious shooters running Farleys and SEBs. Dolphin Company is a little more exotic but runs more expensive due to the British pound. A good mid-range option would be the SEB Mini at just over a grand, that's if you want to run a co-axial rest with joystick for fine motion control.
