Lewis off to a blistering start and looking strong. Tomorrow is forecasted to blow a gale and will likely sort out the order...

It’s 4:40 am and the wind is starting to howl!!
5’s will be the new six!! And six the new x !! 15-20 Moa here we come !! This is going to be an experience!!
At least I’ve done my time in strugglers corner ( target 11 ) and got spanked again at 600 yds with a 54 that could have been a 49-50! But the guy before me got a 60 !! Such is Trentham!!
On that same target earlier an Aussie Tr shooter who was getting possibles most of the day was getting 2’s and 3 ‘s !!
Then a few shooters down the list started getting possibles again !

This is Trentham being nice !

1000 yds called off due to high winds.... moved to 500yds and 5 shots in a cease fire was called. The target frames were cracking due to the high winds. Not sure if there will be more shooting today.

Spare time to do some sightseeing boys. A quiet walk around the harbour in town is highly recommended.

All the shaky isles being lashed at present.

Is 70.8Km/hr fast?

How much do you need on your turret to get into the X ring? [A LOT]

You should try leaning into the wind, and see what angle you get to before you fall over.

Maybe a good day to throw the frisbee, or maybe a boomarang.

I've never heard of shooting being called off due to too much wind, a FIRST!

I have seen a target broken at Rosedale many many years ago. When we had 20 MOA on the Central Sight and aiming on the next target to get a hit.

I hope you enjoy looking around Wellington for today. Leave the umberella at home.
