Unable to measure them at the moment as I'm at work. But, they seat very similar to the 155.5 bergers if that's any help to you. Consistency is very good so far with the 2 boxs I've opened. Especially when you consider that they are factory pointed.

Like all projectiles they vary.
Gyro's pic shows them at 0.390".
I have several batches and they vary between 0.456" and 0.474"
Within a batch, no more than 0.002" variation.

Bugger. I think they may be too short to use in my current chamber

If you've got a long throat in your chamber, try the 155.5 hbc projectiles. I had an old omark that the 155.5 bergers only just touched the case mouth sitting on the land, but the hbc seated about half way down the neck.

Not overly long but the sierras sound like they are quite a bit shorter than the berger full bore im using which measure .530 average base to ogive (on my current lot) i was just thinking of giving the sierras a try for something different.

I have tried hbcs and this barrel does not seem to like them.
