Jongmans action

Post by scott/r »

Can anyone fill me in on the jongmans actions please. I came across one this morning and and it's got me thinking, but I don't know anything about them.
Thanks
Scott.

Never mind, I just found an old thread on the same subject. Matt and Keith answered the question for me already on it.

Um, I don't know how on my phone. But both Matt and Keith commented on how they both had one come through their shops with broken locking lugs on the bolt. That's enough for me.

Quite a long time ago I was involved in fitting a peep sight to a Jongman's action shooting a 223. Although it shot fairly well (TR 223 back then) I also would not recommend it. I saw no broken lugs, but consider you can do a lot better with something else.
