let the fun begin!
old boards know how things work and have never shared that, as it is how their power has always worked.
one of their tricks is to give the new guys irrelevent tasks to keep them sidetracked.
when new guys come along, this knowledge has to be gleaned the hard way by them.
persistance pays dividends here.
