Does anyone chamfer their flash holes?
If you do, what's the process and whats the expected benefit?

Timothy, I thought you'd never ask. Yes I do.

The process : a number 2 center drill on a stalk that's long enough to reach into the case flash hole inside and twist by hand to remove any small 'dags' that are normally there. With SRP brass use a number 1 center drill, on a stalk.

The expected benefit : the usual story - in the absence of the kind of scientific proof near impossible to produce even if u happen to have a properly built rail gun and a tunnel - it makes me feel better.

Yeah, I've done it, for much the same 'feel good' reasons. I got these from BRT.
The reason i ask is because I've got myself a high speed camera.
I still don't know if chanfered is better but the flame is definately different.
I'll have to figure out how to get videos up to share.

I do with Winchester brass. I don't bother with Lapua. On the Winchester brass some pretty big dags do come out. Not sure if it has any effect, but It's a one-off process that is quick, so why not.
