Festival of Shooting?

Post by John Weigel »

The 'Festival of Shooting' is listed on the NRAA and Qld Rifle Assoc websites as a seven day event in mid October. I cannot find any clue as to what it is, via searches of this forum, Google, or otherwise. Maybe its a new thing. Does anyone know if it includes F-Class disciplines, and if so, does each discipline stretch over the entire week? Perhaps it is a Target Rifle only affair, but any clues would be appreciated for forward planning - I'm trying to plan for a non-shooting trip at around that same time. Thanks.

Festival of Shooting - NRAA 50th Anniversary of the National Championships

As advertised on the NRAA web page, this year’s Queen’s Prize will be held as part of the Festival of Shooting, the festival will be held at Belmont Shooting Complex from Saturday 15th to Sunday 23rd October. Included in the Festival of Shooting will be the first Sporting Hunter Nationals as well as some exciting new formats and Teams Matches. We are in the final stages of confirming the program. Keep a watch on the NRAA web and Facebook page for the full program, which will be live on the 1st of July

I noticed that Dave mentioned that the details will be available on the 1st of July. I'm trying to nail down dates for different divisions so I can schedule my work to get a day or three (it's a long drive) off. Any more information yet?
