It is with sadness that I report the passing of our much loved club member, Ron Holland. Shooters, family and friends will gather tomorrow, Thurs 16th, April, at 2.00pm at Warracknabeals Anglican church. To farewell a dedicated and enthusiastic man, who will be fondly remembered by each of us, for any one of the many little moments that endeared him to us all.

Just a little note to acknowledge one of Rons shooting exploits. It is spoken of at Warracknabeal, and can be confirmed by the then Range Officer who personally witnessed it. Being, Stan Smith from Castlemaine R.C., that Ron was the shooter who fired the last competitive scoring shot at the last Williamstown Queens. And when asked to describe the occassion, Stan remembers to this day, that Rons final shot (as usual) was a Bull!
Before anyone say "B#*^s#!t"..Perc Pavey did that! Apparently, Pavey shot late in his squadding. But finished before Ron, and as Stan will atest, "someone had to be last and on the day, it was Ron!"
