Sad news indeed. Tom battled his illness with determination and dignity, staunchly supported by Elly and a lot of his friends. I know that I will miss his presence on the range.
The thoughts and deepest sympathy of the Fitzroy- Caulfield and Grantville Rifle Clubs go out to Elly and family.

I'll never forget Tom's gutsy performance at Canberra last November. A strong character who will be missed.

G'day all,
the first time I saw Tom shoot was at my first Police & emergency Games at Glenrowans some years ago, 60/60/56 over 3/5/600 and I was awe struck.

A very sad loss for many, we are truely diminished.............

To Ellie and family,
Sorry for your lose. It is truely our lose aloso.
He was a great friend with a great sense of humour.
Unfortunately we are losing too many of the real characters of the sport, they were the one that made this sport fun and want you to be part of it.

I heard from Gary Hunt that a card has been sent to Ellie and family on behalf of all F-Open shooters who have befriended Tom over recent years.
