Post by stu_bear2002 »

I finally got back to Castlemaine to pick up my project from Adam Davies about 2 weeks ago 8) .
All the gunsmithing was done by the Davies in Castlemaine and a huge thanks goes out to them for their help in seeing my project come to life =D> .
So far the costs involved have been :- $670 :D

S&L barreled omark action inc postage from Qld $150
bi-pod $185
stock $free
bedding block and bedding $50
scope rail incl d&T and fitting $100
rings $45
paint for stock (gem-shift) $140
the scope being used is from one of my roo culling rifles.
I have just loaded up 50 rounds for load development and hope to get some time behind the trigger in the next week then i'll be handing the stock over to my brother for the paint job.
I will be posting pic's once completed

experimented with a few loads today with some reasonable groups resulting from shooting in between the wind gusts that always come along on my days off .

Looks like there is plenty of space (background of image) to do a spot of testing.

Cheers
