Is this too fast? Any experiences to share or recommendations?

I have mostly 9s and one 8.5. In addition to what Richard said, 1 in 9s are not too slow. Some use 9.5 with great success, but in warmer climes.

I sincerely hope not, I have an 8.5 here that is going to dominate in the cool tassie climate...
