Neck length for 180gr VLD

Gents,

Whats a good neck length for a 7mm cartridge when using 180gr VLDs?

Edit: specifically the length from neck/shoulder junction to case mouth.

Ok, would a 230-240 thou long neck be sufficient for the 180gr VLD in a 7mm-08AI?

Shaun , after a bit of research here is what i found from some generic cartridge diagrams..

7MM SAUM 310 NECK
7 WSM 245 NECK
284WIN 285 NECK
284 SHEHANE 269 NECK

Considering the 7/08 AI will have less capacity than the above and throat wear will be less i would think a cartridge neck length of 250 thou or larger would work fine!!!
