WA Queens accommodation

Post by mike H »

I am thinking of visiting Western Australia and shooting the Queen's series at Albany, would there be someone here that could recommend a caravan park handy to the rifle range.
Thanks,
Mike.

There is limited camping on the range Mike, but you best contact WARA regarding this. Panorama Caravan Park in Little Grove is probably your closest but I dont know what its like. Have stayed at the caravan park at Emu Beach near the harbour before and it was fine but its on the opposite side of Albany to the range. Plenty of places to stay there, do a bit of a google and see what you come up with.

Mike, there are two articles in the latest(July/August) Target magazine with a couple of links, one being

http://www.albanygateway.com.au/visitor/tourist-attractions/

This site has 'accommodation' as per link below, plus other items of interest.

http://www.albanygateway.com.au/directory/accommodation

Would be an interesting trip away and, should be a great event as, from what I have read, it is quite a challenging range. :)
