No luck required  I wouldn't even try that outfit. Purpose of link was to just show that they are becoming available - well, at least State side at any rate.
Just awaiting an email on availability from my usual exporter - what happened to the Bertram brass proposal?

If they are anything like the 6.5-284 norma brass I think I would advise you to buy Lapua 6.5-284 brass and neck it up instead...... the norma brass was alot softer and case head expansion the achilles heel for 284 based cases ...

According to what I have read on accurateshooter.com about it, they have stipulated in the manufacturing contract for a few changes to address the shortcomings of 6.5-284 brass accross the board. The case head is double stamped and I think double drawn to make the primer pockets harder and stand up to hot loads longer, and make the case walls more uniform. I think there is some other stuff, bullets.com in america is selling it at 180us per 100 so there must be some extra work in it for the price. If it did get over here would 300 dollars per 100 be far off what most AU distributors would sting us for? Bloody expensive.
