155gn Hybrid seating depth?

Post by DenisA »

Hi All,

All barrels are different, but I'm just wondering what seating depths other people are achieving good accuracy with specifically 155gn Hybrids?

Cheers.

I found the hybrids to be a little finicky with seating depths. But in both my Omark and barnard they are .005 off the lands. I ended up going back to the 155.5 bergers simply because they are quite forgiving to depths and I found better groups with the higher speeds.

My 215 hybrids seem comfortable .025-.035" off the lands.

Funny this came up, because I'm about to recommission my 6 BR with 105 Hybrids. Previously I used 107 Sierras & 108 Bergers interchangeably.

Hi Denis , I've always had good results with 1-2 thou jump or 5- 10 thou jammed with hybreds .
