45 grains is what my Dad loaded my bullets. However 3 weeks ago I went to Perth for the weekend . Swanbourne was shooting 1000 yds that day so I made 25 bullets with 45.5 grains. I have only shot at 1000 yds 3 times before. It was the best that I have shot at this distance so I am tempted to keep loading at this amount. This seems to be a reasonable load for an Omark. Federal Gold primers are what have been used for ages. Had no problems with extraction or stiff bolt.
