Graham,
You are the living, breathing perfect example as to why Williada gets us to do load Development at 140 yards and not 100.
Try it just once, and you will see your groups open up enough that you can accurately plot......without leaving your shooting spot..
It's the patterns that hold the secrets, whereas one hole at 100 doesn't tell you much by comparison.
Try it just once :D
Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.

Contributions have been enlightening and greatly appreciated.

At this stage I'm inclined to believe its about adjusting for a round group rather than a flat group.

I make my own tuners and keep 20 rounds in my ammo box loaded ,+/-0.5% around my developed load centre so I can check and adjust shot convergence at any range for any condition. I recommend this procedure to others as a way to become familiar and confident in tuner use as I have met guys at ranges with tuners that are afraid to adjust.them in situ.
Shooting over a chrony with hi/lo loads readily confirms positive compensation and hi/lo load vertical position crossover.

Must look into Williada's 140 yd testing albeit will have to settle for 200 yds

Hi Tony , well if we are eventually going to end up on the same team together sometime! Maybe we could do a Sth Qld workshop and do it together ( with some of the other members too!) I find ur work very interesting and beneficial . With the worlds coming up I believe we will have to share our skills , strengths and weeknesses !

Regards Graham.
